Mumbai: Global investment firm KKR has announced a further investment in Lighthouse Learning Group, alongside participation from PSP Investments, to support the education services provider’s next phase of expansion.
KKR will retain its majority stake in Lighthouse Learning Group and continue to play a central role in shaping the company’s long-term growth strategy.
Lighthouse Learning Group Expands Footprint Across India
Lighthouse Learning Group is one of India’s largest and most trusted education services platforms, operating across the early childhood and K-12 segments.
Built on a ‘Child First’ philosophy and innovative teaching methodologies, the group manages several leading brands including EuroKids, Kangaroo Kids, EuroSchool, Billabong High International, Centre Point Group of Schools, Heritage International Xperiential School, and Heritage Xperiential Learning School.

The group currently serves more than 190,000 students daily through its extensive network of over 1,850 preschools and 60 K-12 schools nationwide.

Since KKR first invested in the group in 2019, Lighthouse Learning Group has expanded rapidly, supported by rising demand for quality education across Indian households.
The company has strengthened its presence in key metro markets, including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Delhi-NCR, through both organic and acquisition-led growth.
New Investment to Boost Teaching, Technology and Operations
The latest investment will enable Lighthouse Learning Group to scale its network of high-quality preschools and K-12 institutions across major Indian cities. The group also plans to deepen its focus on teaching excellence, technology-driven learning, and operational enhancements across its platform.

KKR is investing primarily through its Asian Fund IV and other KKR-managed capital pools.
